required to direct and control an organization with regard to quality. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will report to the QA Manager and requires close collaboration with the development team at all levels. Primary responsibilities will be manual and automated testing, as well as to champion our QA processes and standards.Responsibilities:
? Work closely with the QA Manager to design and implement test automation standards and an automation framework
? Lead the automated testing effort
? Create and support automated test scripts to validate the system at various phases of the software development lifecycle (e.g., integration test suite, regression test suite, smoke test suite, etc.)
? Manual testing of our systems and software
? Documentation ? candidate must be comfortable with writing documentation as needed (e.g., test cases, test plans, instructions, etc.)
? Adherence to QA process and standards
? Champion proper use of tools throughout the Development organization (e.g., defect tracking tool, version control tool, etc.)
? Support testing of planned projects that may be long-term, as well as testing short-term projects such as emergency change requests
? Perform other related department duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
? 4+ years in QA / testing
? Knowledge of QA methodology, processes, and tools
? Hands-on experience implementing and supporting 3rd party test automation tools
? Self-directed, detail-oriented, patient, and flexible
? Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
? Comfortable in a changing environment
? Experience in coding is a plus
? Experience with project planning at the QA level is a plus
? Experience working with a small company is a plus
? Experience with implementing tools and process from the ground up is a plus
