Candidate Profile
The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for the overall testing framework and test plan for CodeArmor releases. The Senior QA Engineer creates automated system tests, manages the verification of software fixes, putting together the final packaging of the tested releases, and managing the system testing lab (including machines and networking). Primary implementation languages include: Python (scripting), C, C++, Java, and .NET.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years in a Senior QA role working on a commercial, shipping software product.
Must be able to program in Python, C, C++ and have some experience with Java. Must have a solid background in object-orient programming concepts.
Operating system experience with Windows, Linux, and Macintosh.
Experience in a start-up environment highly desirable. V.i. Laboratories Engineering Team is a small, fast-paced, short release cycle development team. You must be a self-starter who requires minimal direct supervision to get your job done. You must also be able to pick up new technologies quickly and be able to find ways to automate the testing as much as possible.
A keen understanding on how to test complex software systems, attention to detail, willingness to provide the necessary data to help diagnose software quality issues is required.
Experience maintaining a test lab is highly desirable.
Exposure to Web environments (Apache, Tomcat) is required.
Experience with Salesforce, a plus.
BS in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
