The Qvidian sales effectiveness platform?Sales Playbooks & Analytics, Proposal Automation, and Content Library?has increased win-rates and improved productivity for some of the world?s largest and most successful corporations. We are a privately-held company with offices in Cincinnati, Ohio and Lowell, Massachusetts, as well as sales offices in North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia. This particular position will reside in our Lowell, Massachusetts office.

Responsibilities
Senior Quality Assurance Engineers interact directly with members of the customer support and software development teams to build and execute test plans for new product features, defect fixes, and existing functionality of the Kadient/Sant web-based sales enablement software. Senior Quality Engineers are expected to work on a wide-range of technologies, maintain effective communication, and deliver an on-time, quality product. Senior Quality Engineers are also expected to be able to lead a project based test team in their efforts on projects, effectively being the primary contact for all matters related to testing for that project.
Primary Duties
Involved in the Requirements, Design, Technical, and Test specification creation and reviews.
Design and model approaches for testing new features and enhancements.
Work with project team members to build and execute comprehensive quality test plans that fulfill both the technical and functional requirements.
Provide leadership from a testing and process perspective on the project, both within the QA team and within the entire organization.
Provide technical support for complicated issues reported through our support services team, including replication, log gathering, and refinement of information provided in the issue report.
Provide project estimation input to the management team on feature and defect testing.
Effectively report issues found during testing by following our best practices policies.
Mentor, lead, and be a sounding board for the other QA members.
Serve as a technical resource for others in the organizations that need your understanding and expertise.
Competencies/Skills
Knowledge of SQL (Microsoft SQL Server a plus).
Understanding of programming data structures and methods.
Programming or automation experience a plus.
Positive, self-starter, and ability to work unguided, with desire to exceed expectations.
Focus on meeting or beating deadlines.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Effective oral and written communication is a must.
Experienced and Knowledgeable of testing methodologies and techniques.
Experience (minimum)
5 years experience in the Software Quality Assurance field.
Computer Science or related Math/Engineering/Business bachelor?s degree.
