Summary
Responsibilities include modeling, simulation, and characterization of optoelectronic devices toward the development of new optoelectronic components. The Candidate will be responsible for creating models and software to optimize device performance. Support and troubleshooting for the production team is also required. The candidate will also be a task leader and project manager for R & D efforts.
Job Duties
Device modeling and simulation
Electrical and optical characterization of semiconductor devices
Project Leader of R & D projects, Task Leader in R & D projects
Data analysis
Written and oral reports
Support and troubleshooting of production line
Job Requirements
Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or M.S. with equivalent experience
Experience: 2+ years of work experience is preferred. New graduates are acceptable with appropriate academic experience
Other:
Mastery of Matlab or other programming languages
Experience with test equipment including network analyzer, bit error rate test, etc. is preferred
Good understanding of optoelectronic devices and semiconductor band theory
Publishing and conference presentations are highly encouraged
