What you?ll do
As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer, will work with multi-functional teams including product, program, engineering, quality, customers, and regulatory bodies. The Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer serves both as the authoritive as well as in a consultative capacity on Belkin product safety and regulatory compliance as related to local and international regulatory requirements.
How you?ll do it
Assist in development of corporate policy, procedures and tools for product safety and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and interpret US, EU and other International regulations and standards with the objective of making Belkin products compliant as well as managing risk with respect to product requirements.
Provide guidance to global and local management regarding corporate compliance matters where product safety becomes an issue.
Provide technical direction and leadership and facilitate communication across multiple internal disciplines such as PM, engineering as well as contract manufacturers and ODM?s, resulting in full compliance
Ensure suppliers, CM?s and ODM?s comply with domestic and international Regulatory Compliance requirements.
Facilitate design reviews and provide direction to product development teams on product safety and regulatory compliance issues. Further facilitate and assist Belkin PM/PGM staff on achieving safety and regulatory compliance in timely manner
Establish and develop methodologies and processes to ensure robust product test plans and ensure effective validation testing for compliance to applicable safety & regulatory requirements.
What you?ll need
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of International Regulatory Compliance experience in a testing lab or consumer electronics engineering development environment
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
Must be able to read electronic schematics and be familiar with various test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, LISNs, signal generators, various antennas, amplifiers and other RF equipment, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, current meters, power supplies, etc.

Conduct or assist in internal investigations and analysis of any non-compliant product / incident. Define and/or assist in definition of corrective action as necessary. Guide post incident investigation and problem resolution, advise corporate on risk exposures, follow up with action plans for related systems when
Support NPI and Sustaining RC Engineers in certifying new and maintaining current certification status of production product. Monitor testing at 3rd party test and certification labs. Collect, review and release RC test plans, reports, and certificates. Maintain international RC Standards Library and support tracking budgets, invoices, schedule, etc.
Candidate must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 40 to 50 Lbs.
