Position Summary:
Responsible for working closely with development, QA and operations groups to produce automated software builds,
installers and releases using a variety of tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Responsible for software engineering?s Source Code, Build and Installation environments
o Maintain and administer TFS and SVN Subversion source control environment
o Manage the daily build process, ensuring reliable and timely execution along with resolving issues
o Develop/Maintain installers using InstallShield (MSI and Scipt based) and Visual Studio MSIs
o Deploying software/patch releases to local and production servers
o Administer the hardware and software systems required to produce the builds.
? Identify and implement processes to strengthen and streamline the automated build and deployment process
? Document instructions and processes related to build process, systems and development environment
? Develop/Maintain production-quality configuration tools using C#
Education, Experience and Skills:
Education & Experience:
o BS degree in a computer science or a related area or equivalent, relevant experience
o Minimum of 5 years of release engineering experience
o Prior experience on a development team that has successfully released/delivered products to market.Position Description

Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Requires a strong background in Release Enginering including:
o 5 years experience in software development, software build technologies, and release management
methodologies
o Must have a thorough understanding of:
? Source control systems, TFS 2010
? Source branch and merge techniques
? InstallShield 2010/2011 (MSI and Script based) implementations.
o 3 years experience with Windows, C#, MSBuild, .Net and SQL databases
o Experience with process automation using various scripting languages
o Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in a software an networked environment
Additional Skills and Knowledge:
o Experience with CruiseControl.Net, VisualBuild Pro, Maven and Jenkins
o Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of Build Tools, Unit Testing Tools, Code analysis tools and
general SCM principles
o Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including .NET, ASP, COM.
o VC++, C++

o Excellent at organization, multi-tasking and follow-through with attention to detail are critical
o Must have strong documentation skills
o Excellent problem solving skills including risk analysis and proposing alternative solutions
