The Senior Research Analyst will conduct individual research and collaborate with the product management team, and other cross-functional organizations, to aid decision makers across Peoplefluent?s products, solutions and technologies. The Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for creating cross-product databases with analytical and insightful research on key topics in the talent management/human capital management industry. Additional responsibilities include: sourcing, collating, and evaluating data from customers, the TM/HCM industry and our software products; and further exploration of pipelines, trends, and projections. With this research, the Analyst will produce reports and presentations that show a deep understanding into the data supporting our product line decisions and a thorough analysis that strategically draws concise conclusions.
This role requires extensive research experience with strong verbal, written, statistical, and analytical skills. Additionally, candidates must be hard working, self-initiating and display a deep understanding of broader topics in the TM/HCM industry and commercial value for our customers.

?Work independently and with limited supervision to create and maintain research standards, practices and methodologies for the Product Management organization.
?Maintain integrity of data and research surrounding product information. This includes regular data aggregation, collation, and research to ensure accuracy and freshness of our database.
?Identify the important market and other data points of interest for product and research initiatives.
?Identify external benchmarks, when necessary, to deliver research results.
?Design and conduct surveys, focus groups and other measurements with customers and prospects to gather important market information.
?Direct cross-functional teams and (when applicable) external sources including consultants, analysts, public relations and other research participants in data collection and analysis needed to compile conclusive research results.
?In collaboration with Sales, design and conduct win / loss analysis efforts with prospective customers.
?In collaboration with Account Management and Professional Services, design and conduct periodic surveys on desired features, enhancements and post-implementation surveys.
?Be familiar with social media and social analytics, including sentiment analysis.
?Produce research and reports that include a relevant, logical, and detailed analysis of the TM/HCM market and customers. These dynamic presentations should include a clearly defined topic and assess various factors including market conditions, historical trends, key market drivers, and forecasted direction of the market.
?Continue development of the logic and sourcing behind all current research processes.
?Aid in the planning, decision making, and execution of large scale projects on detailed information systems.
? PhD in mathematics, business economics, statistics, or similar quantitative field.
? 2-4 years experience in the software industry strongly preferred.
? Experience working with data (ability to source, collate, and interpret information systems). Must possess a deep understanding of how various datasets are useful to customers in the industry.
?Expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with statistical software packages preferred, but not required. Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision making, communication, and project management skills.
?Must have strong critical thinking with a keen ability to quickly identify relevant topics and datapoints.
?Capable of developing clear, concise, and analytical conclusions supported through independent research
?Must have strong written and verbal skills.
?Must have analytical mindset and graphical capabilities to represent analysis. Experience with infographics highly desired, but not required.
?Capable of multitasking and working in a fast paced environment while maintaining standards of integrity and accuracy of the data, research, and reports.
