Description:The successful candidate will perform in vivo pharmacological and preclinical experiments, including efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and toxicological studies.
Duties will include:
Prepare study design, experimental protocol, study report, and other documentation
Conduct dose calculations, data collection and statistical analysis
Carry out in vivo experiments, perform basic surgical procedures and tissue/blood sample collections
Measure disease ? related biomarkers
Assist pharmacokinetics and toxicology studies
Must be willing and capable of performing on-line Medline literature search if necessary
Assist in vivo facility activities and maintenance
Job Requirements:
B.S. or equivalent, with 5+years? experience with in vivo experimentation.
Basic knowledge of biology, animal physiology. Knowledge of cardiovascular, metabolic, diabetic, and/or nephrology diseases is a plus
Basic hands-on in vivo R&D experience. Knowledge and experience with GLP and SOP is a plus.
In vitro skills including ELISA and lipid measurement are preferred.
Must possess good written and oral skills
Self-motivated, attention to detail, dedication to quality, and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and interdependently in a supportive multi-functional team setting
Willing to work on weekend/holidays as needed
