Senior RF Engineer - Power Amplifier Design PureWave Networks

The PureWave Hardware Team is responsible for the implementation and integration of all hardware into our highly innovative and cutting-edge 4G Base Stations. We are seeking talented and enthusiastic electrical engineers for the Hardware Design team. The job entails working with cross-functional groups to continually push the envelope of technology implemented in PurweWave products.
This position will be responsible for Designing 2 to 10 W RF PA?s at various frequencies from 700-2700MHz with high efficiency and small footprint for high volume low-cost LTE small cell base-station applications. The successful candidate will involve in evaluating evaluation modules, creating schematics, driving ODM partners in PCB layout, board bring-up, driving all relevant certification efforts, , and continuing support of the product.
We are looking for an energetic, assertive team player, who can expertly design and manage rapid development cycles from concept to production. You will have deep knowledge Analog & RF circuits, FCC/ETSI testing, EMI and ESD, thermal requirements, and the latest technologies used in wireless communication systems such as WiMAX and LTE. A strong focus on product design as well as attention to detail is essential.
Experience as lead designer of RF power amplifiers from 700 to 2700MHz and from 2-10Watts
Experience in PA volume production, module/packaging technologies, and understanding of reliability and manufacturing issues
Must have a demonstrated understanding of RF and microwave circuit theory with particular emphasis on RF power amplifier design
Must be expert at using RF test equipment, spectrum analyzer, VNA, RF software tools for design verification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of PA predistortion techniques
EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and at least 15 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong experience in the design, development, and debugging of hardware boards and systems.
Knowledge of hardware design methodologies, ability to communicate and document hardware requirements and design in a clear and well-structured manner.
Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support
Proficient in schematic capture and manage PCB layout design
Significant experience working with JDMs/ODMs/OEMs/CMs
Experience with Mechanical design / tools a plus
