Duties & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate comes with excellent knowledge of and interest in wireless and RF technologies, a strong background in RF and system test, and familiarity with test software development.
Position reports into the Manufacturing Technology Group at LitePoint.
Provides technical leadership in resolving complex systems level issues during and after the design phase.
This group provides all technical test, diagnostic, and debug solutions required for effective product launch, build, and sustaining processes.
Group develops RF module and system level test and manufacturing hardware and software solutions.
Gets involved in early R&D phase to capture required knowledge while helping new product development.
This position acts as the RF champion within the Mfg. Technology Group for all operational requirements.
Develops RF module and system level test strategies, works with test software developers to ensure effective verification and implementation in concert with the new product release time lines.
Develop requirements, test, monitor, and drive corrections for RF systems improvements during the product design cycle.
This is a go to position in solving difficult process and field issues once exhausted by the service and F.A. group. Requires engineering analysis to drive corrections on these level 3 process and field issues.
Requires total comfort and sound engineering analytics in resolving system, module, and component level issues independently,
Recommend and drive required design, test, and process changes to enhance product performance.
Develops effective feedback mechanism within LitePoint community to ensure proactive improvements.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required The successful candidate will have:
5-10 years of RF design and test analysis experience.
Strong knowledge of test equipment capabilities, test methods, and test design.
Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities required.
Connectivity and Cellular test system knowledge is highly desirable.
Connectivity and Cellular application knowledge is highly desirable.
Able to spot, lead, and drive opportunities to closure.
A team player with tactful communication skills.
A persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with detective nature of activities.
Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, MSEE preferred.
