Senior RF Test Engineer - Job# 1168 Dust Networks

Introduction:

Dust Networks is looking for a Sr. RF Test Engineer to be a key member of a small team manufacturing ultra low-power, wireless mesh networking systems. As a member of the operational team, the successful applicant will work with IC designers, hardware, software, system verification, and layout engineers in the following areas:

Design and develop test processes, procedures and equipment;
Develop automation software for manufacturing; and
Provide technical support to contract manufacturers and in-house production.

This position is at Dust Networks corporate offices in Hayward, California.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have a proven track record of development, testing and analysis on RF and analog/digital electronic products. In addition, the candidate must have knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with the IPC-A-610 standard. Strong communication skills, and proficiency in RF debug and product characterization is also essential.

Education: BSEE with 5+ years of professional experience.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing test procedures and equipment for circuit board, unit and system tests using standard or custom equipment with C, Labview and Labwindows CVI programs. In addition, this person will provide engineering support including failure analysis, training, building test stations, and setting up and transferring test stations to various CMs.
