Position Summary:
Responsibility to participate as an integral member of a service team whose primary goal is to improve client performance in the area(s) of safety and regulatory compliance. This position will be responsible for providing account management and consultative services to the organization?s Enterprise fleet clients and others needing specialized services. This will be accomplished by having a positive impact on the Client?s ?Safety Culture?. The Sr. Risk Manager will also play a key role bringing in new business and retaining current business by providing professional sales support, account management, and consultative services.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Identify regulatory/compliance risks and apply appropriate techniques to eliminate, or mitigate such risks to protect the Client
Educate our clients on the use of our online services, as well as motivate the repeat usage of our products and services
Researches regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information
Prepares compliance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer?s concern; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art best practices
Conduct WebEx and Program demonstrations to clients
Attend Conferences and Trade shows upon request
Schedules on-site QPR?s and other related visits with clients
Prepares PowerPoint slides and presentations for use at public ventures and during quarterly program reviews
Prepare benchmark analysis for internal use and requesting clients
Requirements:
Experience in a customer facing role
Must be detail oriented with a strong ability for interpersonal communication
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Capable of developing strong personal relationships with key decision makers
Possess a drive to both set and constantly chase goals
Ability to work without consistent, direct supervision
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Must show advanced problem solving skills
Strong business, and analytical skills
Work with Sales Executives to support sales efforts
Position requires travel 40 to 60% of the time ? Travel throughout the contiguous 48 states, and Canada
Experience/Education:
4+ years In-depth risk & safety knowledge (DOT, State and Federal Compliance)
4-year degree in transportation or related subject is preferred or equivalent experience
Position requires applicant possesses one or more of the following credentials
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Certified Director of Safety (CDS)
Certified Transportation Professional (CTP)
