SENIOR ROYALTY ACCOUNTANT

SUMMARY:
Position will be responsible for completing or overseeing all accounting processes related to generating royalty calculations
and reports. May lead and direct the work of others, including training employees. Provides input for process improvement
and recommended changes for accounting systems. Demonstrates good judgment and problem solving ability even during
high stress situations. Exhibits strong communication skills with team, other departments and management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ï'· Create monthly royalty reporting and payment requests for Solution Partners.
ï'· Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries.
ï'· Complete work in compliance of royalty policies and procedures to achieve error free operations.
ï'· Audit royalty transactions for errors.
ï'· Ensure royalty accounts are reconciled timely and variances are dealt with promptly.
ï'· Research and respond to internal and external team inquiries.
ï'· Perform monthly account reconciliations for royalty specific accounts.
ï'· Assist in the integration of acquired companies' processes and calculation methodologies into Infor's combined
processes.
ï'· Maintain a proficient knowledge of all computer systems required in performing responsibilities.
ï'· Conduct research for projects as necessary.
ï'· Assist in the resolution of royalty payment issues.
ï'· Demonstrates communication skills required to gain the cooperation of others to resolve issues.
ï'· Ability to conduct presentations or provide technical information as needed.
ï'· Meet or exceed department business and operational goals.
ï'· Handle any other ad hoc projects that develop.
ï'· Analyze data to provide value-add information to various business units. (i.e. margin analysis, contract analysis, etc.)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
ï'· Accounting or Finance Degree
ï'· 3-4 years Accounting/Finance experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
ï'· Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Excel user.
ï'· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills are a must
PREFERRED SKILLS:
ï'· Microsoft Access experience a plus
