Senior Sales Engineer - Enterprise Solutions Group Empirix

Job Description: Qualified candidates will work with enterprise customers and channels to shorten the sales cycle by managing technical challenges within these accounts. Sales Engineers must have solid communication skills, sales ability, technical expertise, and work well in a team or independently. They must also have experience supporting external sales channels and alliance partners.
Responsibilities:
Leveraging relationships within organizations to solve technical hurdles and foster awareness of the Empirix solution set and its value proposition
Assisting with the development of alliance partners. This may include conducting joint account calls, updating their technical staff on new products and features, and developing customer solutions
Acting as a mentor to Sales Engineers to share knowledge and best practices to advance the sales of Empirix products and technologies
Required Skills:
5 - 10 years of experience in a Contact Center or Communications Technology solutions company
Experience in a pre-sales or post-sales role with various Communications technologies including PBXs, IVRs, CTI, Speech Applications, ACD, VoIP, Video, etc. from Avaya and/or Cisco
Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills
Self-starter that manages time and activities with little day-to-day guidance or interaction from management
The ability to travel up to 60%.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Contact Center or Enterprise Communications monitoring solutions
Experience specifying, configuring and troubleshooting communications solutions from Avaya and/or Cisco
Travel Requirements: Up to 60%
