Senior Sales Engineer Zettaset

Roles/Responsibilites:The senior sales engineer will help deploy, install, and configure our Hadoop solutions for clients. This may involve setting up ETL procedures for custom data formats, creating MapReduce jobs or Hive queries to analyze customer data, and helping to tune Hadoop for the client's environment. You will use cutting-edge big data tools and technologies to solve real problems.
Additionally, the sales engineer will also help shape the product and participate in determining the product roadmap by giving real-world feedback from customers and describing their own experience solving customer problems with our platform and tools.
Minimum Requirements:
Work well in a Linux environment, and can tune/optimize Linux systems
Have experience with data analytics
Comfortable writing code in Java or related languages
Experience with high-performance databases or clusters a plus
Experience with Hadoop, Hive, and MapReduce a huge plus
Additional Skills:
Experience visualizing large data sets
Any programming experience in Java and/of PHP is a major plus
A/B testing and any other UI testing experience
