Brandmuscle?s platform and services make it possible for brands to consistently execute effective local marketing programs in support of distributed users that include franchisees, distributors, dealers, agents and sales organizations of all sizes.
The Senior Sales Executive will be based in Brandmuscle?s Cleveland office and will lead Brandmuscle?s sales efforts on assigned accounts, serve as a resource to help the client service team expand Brandmuscle?s presence at existing clients, and will be expected to become a Subject Matter Expert for pricing and product functionality questions. This position will be charged with closing new business and expanding Brandmuscle?s presence in the marketplace.
1. Sales efforts targeting prospective clients (80%)
The Senior Sales Executive (SSE) will be responsible for leading Brandmuscle?s sales efforts, focusing on a group of assigned prospects who have expressed an interest in learning more about Brandmuscle?s offering (either via our outbound marketing or lead generation activities). The SSE will be responsible for developing an understanding of each assigned prospect company, preparing and delivering an initial capabilities presentation and online/in-person product demonstration, and following up on each presentation as necessary to bring the opportunity to a close via follow up emails, phone calls, in-person meetings, the presentation of detailed proposals, etc. In situations which include a formal RFI or RFP process, the SSE will be responsible for working with Brandmuscle?s Sales Operations team to respond to the RFP in a timely manner that helps insure that Brandmuscle maximizes its opportunity to win the RFP.
Once a prospective client selects Brandmuscle, the SSE will be responsible for working with the Sales Operations team to secure a signed contract before transitioning the opportunity to the appropriate Client Service team.
2. SME for pricing, service and product functionality (20%)
By virtue of his/her focus on Brandmuscle?s product and service offering, the SSE will serve as an internal Subject Matter Expert on Brandmuscle?s technology and service offering along with the associated pricing models, to help educate internal team members on Brandmuscle?s product functionality (especially new features and functionality), services and the associated pricing models.
The SSE will prioritize the company?s resources to concentrate on the potential sales opportunities that will maximize revenue and earnings.
The SSE will be tasked and measured on total direct new client revenue generated in his/her territory. He/she will be equipped and empowered to coordinate all of Brandmuscle?s resources to achieve the maximum sales in his/her territory.
This position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.
Additional responsibilities include:
Evaluating the sales opportunities for new Brandmuscle products and services in assigned area, and determine those with the greatest profit potential
Attaining sales quotas and managing pipeline
Building personal relationships with the targeted prospective companies in support of Brandmuscle sales growth initiatives
Analyzing prospective customer needs and application and developing a relevant value proposition
Engaging and nurturing potential clients
Managing long and short term sales cycles
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, energetic, and versatile sales professional with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales success and execute the company?s corporate goals and objectives. We are seeking successful sales talent with the following attributes:
Experience in selling into the marketing organization of large corporations
Expertise in developing and nurturing relationships with senior marketing executives
Demonstrated track record of sales success and the ability to achieve aggressive sales quotas
Hands-on orientation and roll-up-your-sleeves mentality that is crucial for success in an entrepreneurial environment
Outstanding communication and presentation skills as well as strong strategic sales, negotiation and problem solving skills
Proven ability to work in collaborative environment
The ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, etiquette and relationship management skills
Exceptional organizational skills, in particular, follow-up and attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal company resources
Financial acumen and business case ROI development
The successful candidate must have a bachelor?s degree in business or related disciplines, combined with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant technology or marketing services sales experience.
The successful candidate will be competitively compensated with a base salary plus sales commission. Brandmuscle also offers a generous benefit package.
