Senior Sales Planner Quantcast
Quantcast is seeking a proactive Senior Sales Planner to work closely with our Sales teams. This is a pivotal pre-sale support role, which interfaces with Quantcast?s Sales, Campaign Management and Client Services teams. This is a unique opportunity for someone to help shape new processes and responsibilities as the company evolves. The Senior Sales Planner is responsible for all pre-sale duties, including developing strategic proposals and media plans, being the point person for sales on product questions and providing direction on the best business practices. Our ideal candidate is proficient in online media, specifically the display advertising sales and delivery life cycle. They should also have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, detail-oriented, strong mentor, and a team player.
Quantcast is a dynamic work environment and as a result, candidates need to be comfortable with change. They should be comfortable in a fast-paced sales environment. They will also be highly proficient with key tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, 3rd party ad serving platforms and sales management tools.

Ability to translate client goals into actionable media strategy, understand overall client brand objectives and provide strategic recommendations by generating pre-sale pitches and media proposals
Keep track of product roadmaps and communicate new features to sales as they are released
Provide media expertise to other Sales Planners and Sales team to provide better proposals and service to clients
Break down barriers among the different departments and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Client Strategy, Campaign Management and Product Marketing
Keep Sales Planning Manager informed of the team?s progress, as well as any internal concerns
Manage communication with internal team to make sure all best practices are being utilized across team efficiently
Work closely with the Finance team on sales forecast
Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, communication or related field
Three to five years experience in media planning, ad operations or ad sales support in an agency, ad network, publisher or related environment
Strong working knowledge of how publishers and agencies conduct business within the digital advertising space
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Salesforce
Experience working with Adazzle, Atlas, DoubleClick or other third party platforms
