Magnetic is looking for a Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst to help build out a scalable infrastructure for sales analytics and process for a growing sales team. In addition to handling the traditional operational elements of sales ops, this person will have the opportunity to partner directly with the COO and senior sales management at a more strategic level. This person will also have the chance to innovate by creating new Salesforce.com solutions with our development partners. This role may also occasionally partner with the finance and data organizations to conduct ad hoc analyses. ? Prepare zero-defect sales reports for sales managers and account executives to track their performance vs. quarterly goals.
? Analyze sales reports to identify trends that can be used to improve revenue forecasts and sales team performance.
? Own our third-party consulting and development team relationship to create and implement new Salesforce.com tools to streamline sales processes.
? Partner with sales management to calculate the size of Magnetic?s addressable markets and set territory goals accordingly.
? Work with sales and account management teams to clean up account data in Salesforce.com.
? Create ad hoc reports in Salesforce.com, as needed.
? Help the finance team create monthly and quarterly reporting.
? Work with sales management to help create quarterly and annual operating plans.
? At least three years of sales operations experience.
? Work experience in start-up environments or fast-growing companies is preferred, but not required.
? Interest in online marketing / advertising technology.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Exhibits a ?can do? attitude and is a real driver to get things done.
? Insatiable appetite to learn and absorb new information on-the-fly.
? Proficiency is Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel. Strong PowerPoint skills are not required, but would be a real plus.
