| Description: | We are looking for a senior scientist who can build predictive models to detect online fraud and measure traffic quality. We are looking for special talent that can help build the core intellectual property of our company. Become a leader in an already strong team of statisticians, data miners, and fraud specialists. Click Forensics is the acknowledged leader in click fraud prevention and traffic quality management solutions for online advertisers, publishers and ad networks. You will be at the center of an exciting new company that is already the leader in the field of measuring online advertising traffic quality. Job Responsibilities include: - Build working models that can detect click fraud in online advertising traffic - Build working models that can predict traffic quality in online advertising traffic - Analyze data to find patterns of click fraud & traffic quality using third party and custom developed tools - Perform complex statistical analysis techniques to evaluate effectiveness of models - Test and report on the efficacy of new rules, classifiers, and new approaches - Use customer data to identify ways to improve the system - Propose strategies for which types of analysis and technologies to research and use - Work in an agile development environment by continuously adding value to products - Write-up and contribute to patents on new approaches Experience: - Ph. D in Machine Learning, Statistical or related fields is desired (Strong MS candidates will be considered as well) - Experience with heuristic systems, network analysis, neural networks and other systems - Experience doing hands on implementation and development of machine learning systems. - Significant industry experience (more than 5 years) in real world applications. - Prefer to have worked on very large data sets - Experience with tools such as MatLab and/or other open statistical computation software packages - Prefer to have exposure to online advertising data - Strong SQL skills - Prefer someone who has worked on a successful machine learning project that has had commercial success - Prefer a familiarity with anomaly detection, network graph analaysis and time series analysis.
