Join Workday's technical security team as the lead Incident Response Engineer. This position is responsible for creating and managing the incident response program at Workday. You will assist in determining the incident response requirements, framework, and necessary solutions and/or tools. You will be responsible for working closely with other members of the CIRT team to ensure timely and proper handling of security events. You will be responsible for the coordination of event analysis, investigations, forensics, data protection, and documentation of all incident details. This position does require you to provide on-call support. Â

Skills and Experience:
⢠Minimum 5+ years of experience in an equivalent Information Security role
⢠Experience with both defining and participating in an enterprise incident response program.
⢠Experience with information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) frameworks.
⢠Working experience with IDS/IPS/HIDS systems, DLP systems, firewalls, SIM/SEM systems, and vulnerability scanning tools.
⢠Good understanding of enterprise information systems including infrastructure, services, and applications.
⢠Strong communications skills, both written and oral.
⢠Strong project management skills.
⢠Must be organized, responsive, and a highly thorough problem solver.
⢠Able to gain support and consensus with multiple stakeholders.
⢠CISSP, CISA, GIAC, and/or related certifications a plus.
⢠BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
