Senior Server Engineer Laszlo Systems

We are seeking a seasoned, energetic, self-motivated full-time or contract Senior Solutions Engineer in the SF Bay Area to join our Professional Services team and help deliver Laszlo Systems' products to customers. Responsibilities

Lead projects, from requirement analysis to deployment.
Enhance, architect, design, and implement customized Laszlo applications that meet customers' business needs.
Interface with customers to gather requirements, design approaches, and project status. Act as a consultant to our customers.
Write project related documents: technical design documents, best practices, lessons learned, etc.
Work with our RIA designers, product team, QA to deliver high quality solutions.


Minimum Requirements

7+ years of proven, relevant, web development & enterprise application development experience using Java, J2EE, Spring framework, JSP, JavaScript, XML, HTTP, HTML.
Strong OOP experience, MVC.
Experience with messaging systems (Email, Voicemail, IM)
Experience with databases (SQL, LDAP)
Knowledge of web-based solutions architecture, deployment, and the underlying technologies (network, web servers, SOA, REST)
Experience with software development life cycle, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong .Net experience is a plus.
Experience with Unix, Linux.
Experience with OpenLaszlo or willing to learn this cool technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This position requires a technical pre-screen over the phone, and may require a presentation pre-screen prior to in-person interviews.
