Senior Server Engineers Yoics
We need several server side engineers to help expand, scale and maintain all aspects of our service infrastructure. We are expanding rapidly and must scale our services to meet the demands
of our global partner products. These positions require candidates to think big and anticipate
scalability demands proactively. Yoics provides cloud services 24x7x365 in a global ecosystem
where partners and consumers expect reliable connectivity.
Technical Skills and Requirements
Networking: UDP, TCP socket programming is a must.
Web Services: Develop to open APIs is a must.
Applications: Scalable database, web server and socket infrastructure; supporting millions of
transactions per day.
Programming Languages: C#, Java, PHP, Javascript/AJAX, HTML/CSS, SQL.
Tools: Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio, SQL Studio, Reporting Services, SCM (Perforce, Clearcase,
SVN, GIT etc.). We prefer SVN/GIT.
Culture: You must be willing to work in a small, fast-paced environment and be self-motivated
to take charge and get things done. Our partners are top-tier manufacturers who count on us to
deliver stellar results.
Systems: We use Windows and Linux servers and need candidates that accept legacy solutions.
Successful candidates will define and evolve our server infrastructure using the best available
technologies.
