Responsys is currently seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our team of experts. We seek a well-rounded individual willing to assume responsibility and grow at rapid pace.
As a member of the Client Solutions team, the Solutions Consultant will be responsible for the articulating the technical benefits and differentiators related to the Interact Suite. The Solutions Consultant will work directly with the Responsys Sales Team and Account Management Team supporting both prospect and customer engagements. This position incorporates traditional Sales Engineering related tasks and responsibilities applied to the rapidly growing field of Interactive Marketing.
The Solutions Consultant will bring a strong technical consulting background and will be tasked conducting technical client/prospect discovery sessions, designing standard and custom solutions within the Interact Suite, and presenting those solutions in the form of custom product demonstrations and presentations. Responsys serves the world?s top interactive marketers in three primary verticals; Retail, Travel & Hospitality, and Financial Services.
As a member of the Client Solutions team, the Senior Services Consultant will be responsible for the articulating the benefits and differentiators related to vast service offerings available from Responsys. The Senior Services Consultant will work directly with the Responsys Sales Team and Account Management Team supporting Full Service prospect engagements. This position incorporates traditional presentation and scoping related tasks and responsibilities applied to the rapidly growing field of Interactive Marketing.
The Senior Services Consultant will bring a services related consulting background and will be tasked conducting prospect discovery sessions, presenting those serviced-based solutions, and scoping final service engagements for enterprise caliber prospects. Final scoping will be performed in collaboration with the prospect, the sales rep and the Solutions Consultant (Sales Engineer). Responsys serves the world?s top interactive marketers in three primary verticals; Retail, Travel & Hospitality, and Financial Services.
This is a revenue generating position, functioning as the primary liaison between the Responsys field sales organization and the Responsys services organization. This position also serves as the primary point of contact for Responsys? prospects evaluating any and all Responsys and third party services. The Senior Services Consultant is responsible for managing several sales opportunities simultaneously and will report directly to the Director, Services Solutions. Up to 50% travel domestically required.
In addition, the Senior Services Consultant will:
Engage in a rapid education process including formal training, self-study and field experience designed to position the candidate as an expert on all Responsys services as quickly as possible.
Respond to services related questions received via RFP and or RFI in an accurate and timely fashion.
Conduct discovery sessions directly with prospect. Discovery is designed to uncover service-based requirements to define the services solution for the prospect.
Work directly with Sales, Strategic Services, Professional Services and Creative Services to collaborate on and develop the overall Solution Presentation. Serve as the services lead and liaison within a multi-disciplined Responsys Sales team throughout the sales cycle.
Present Responsys services, including the benefit and ROI derived when services are applied in-conjunction with the Responsys platform. Present prospect solutions onsite or via web-conference.
Accurately scope and price services solution in collaboration with the Responsys Services Organization.
Assist in the creation of services-based Statements of Work. Prepare and provide client facing follow-up calls and documentation.
Participate in weekly Responsys Client Solution and Product Management meetings to stay up to date on current technical concepts on future product enhancements. Attend all company provided training sessions.
Continuously fine-tune your skills through a self-study based education program designed to acquire industry leading best practices related to email marketing, mobile marketing, social networking and marketing process management.
As an integral member of the sales team, contribute in detailed qualification of opportunities, formulation of sales strategies and services-related approaches, plans. Ensure prospect satisfaction with all project deliverables.
Meet or exceed quarterly Management objectives and revenue targets.
Minimum of 5 years experience in agency, consulting or client-side marketing services
Experience in online, email, mobile, social, CRM or multi-channel marketing
Possess excellent client-facing skills and experience in dealing with clients as well as experience in presenting to senior level executives
Ability to work effectively within a highly driven sales organization
Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in varied departmental environments
Strong work plan and self-development skills
