You equally enjoy delving into the details of a web application session to solve a technology mystery and learning the ins and outs of your customer's organization to keep resources on task to ensure project success.

What you get to do every day:

• Talk to your customers daily to ensure project success as team leader for their specific implementation


• Align with development team, and others in the hands-on execution of implementation project tasks


• Collaboratively troubleshoot any issues that may arise during project delivery


• Define new processes to increase team efficiency


• Create new technical tools to enhance customer experience


• Assist the sales team with technical questions during pre and post sales situations


• Perform diagnostic tests to assure that all systems are fully operational prior to final deployment


• Root cause analysis of any issues that occur to include- misconfigured gateway to null cookie name to an obscure LDAP error and anything that might require packet sniffing


• Work with LDAP to configure and diagnose identity and provisioning solutions


• Investigate http headers to troubleshoot web application sessions and any problems with SSO initiation


• Keep up to date with latest technology changes by advancing your skills through continuing education and seminars

What you bring to the role:

• A distinct desire to please your customer and satisfy them throughout the process no matter what it takes, with a pulse on the risks and timeline for delivery


• Technical expertise in web application delivery and network architecture over a minimum of 3 years in a customer facing technical role with hands-on project management


• Your answer to “what’s the difference between HTTP and HTTPS” is not that one is a plural of the other, you can intimately describe the difference


• When you are looking inside of a cookie, you are looking for session information, not reading your fortune


• Working knowledge of how user information is stored in LDAP directories and how the protocol retrieves, modifies and updates record information


• You know when to escalate issues to management


• How browsers interact with web sites, how to assemble HTTP headers, and how HTTP sessions are managed is your forte


• SOCKS proxies are not sandals, and you can understand how to use and configure them


• The seven layers of the OSI model are familiar territory to you and how each layer interacts with the other to provide communication across a network information is very clear to you


• Fast-paced technology growth is thrilling, and you are eager to contribute in a major way to the company success


• Great communication skills both written and verbal


• Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun


• Some occasional limited travel required


• CISSP or MCSE, identity management - ID Routing, SAML, Federation are nice to have but not required
