LogRhythm is seeking a Senior SIEM Consultant, Professional Services to join our team at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado. The LogRhythm Senior Consultant, Professional Services is responsible for delivering professional and technical services to LogRhythm customers. Professional services consist of performing remote and on- site installation and integration of LogRhythm technology. Technical services consist of delivering managed services and technical support services. Although many services are delivered remotely, System Engineers will be expected to travel.
Qualified candidates will have proven experience implementing distributed software- based products. They will also need to have experience in a variety of technologies including networking devices, security devices, operating systems, and databases. Required Skills:
10+ years of field consulting experience
3+ years experience providing consulting experience for a Log Management and/
or SIEM vendor.
Software installation, integration, and configuration
Some software development and/or scripting experience
Experience with logging systems (i.e., Syslog, Windows Event Log)
Extensive experience installing and working with Windows Server operating
system
Experience working with Windows SQL Server 2000/2005
An understanding and comfort with Windows Domain security and audit policies
Comfortable installing and configuring -NIX based applications
Experience working with and configuring routers, switches, and firewall devices
A solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols and routing
Valued Skills:
Degree in Computer Information Systems or Network Security
Relevant industry certifications (i.e., CISSP, CISA)
Security Information/Event Management solution experience (particularly of
SIEM Products)
Compliance solution implementation experience (e.g., PCI, HIPPA, ?Intrusion detection/prevention solution experience)
Vulnerability assessment/penetration testing experience
IT audit experience
