Our Software Architects lead Agile development teams that work together to build quality, efficiency & scalability into each element of our Renew OnDemand SaaS product. The team is essentially a well funded start-up within an established $250 million dollar a year Recurring Revenue business.

What you will do
As an experienced Software Architect you will be able to leverage your passion for:
building large-scale, enterprise cloud software in a fast-paced, agile environment
driving elegantly simple designs that meet real market opportunities.
Additionally you will work with the senior engineering team in major architecture projects, provide technical leadership and mentorship to other senior engineers and lead code reviews, analysis and performance tuning.
You will serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues & proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommending appropriate solutions. Moreover, the Architect will work closely with the technology leadership team, including development, quality assurance, and technical operations to optimize the deployment and upgrades of Renew OnDemand.

Demonstrated success in areas:
building enterprise-class SaaS applications
hosting on public cloud infrastructure
Possess cross-domain, cross-functional and cross-industry expertise with demonstrated knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep
Successful track record of leading multiple concurrent projects and performing in a variety of different roles in an agile software development life cycle
Desire and demonstrated ability to be ?hands on? and close to the technology
Demonstrated ability to share and communicate ideas to executive staff, business sponsors, technical resources and other key constituents in clear, concise language
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision; take initiative; willing to mentor and develop others
Competency for reacting quickly to changing requirements based on product limitations or evolving enterprise needs
True passion to have fun developing awesome software within a team of really brilliant people
Extensive industry/product experience in cloud computing, ETL, Data Replication, No SQL Databases (Mongo) a plus
Latest data, data management, data integration, and data quality
Latest and greatest web technologies, distributed computing and high performance systems
Current knowledge of autonomous systems
BS in Computer Science or related fields; advanced degree a plus
15+ years of professional software development experience
Desire to work in the SOMA neighborhood but not always wear a hoody & sneakers
Practical, market oriented approach to software development
Experience developing multi-tier applications, with web-based services development experience
Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment
