PaySimple is seeking a highly motivated, technically-savvy team player to work with PaySimple partners to deliver innovative solutions. You will be responsible for engineering strategic partnership integrations which will disrupt how small businesses manage their payments, billing, and invoicing in the marketplace. This position is a hands-on development role, working closely with PaySimple?s product management, partners, and customer care teams. The ideal candidate has a diverse technology background, excellent people skills, as well as good business acumen, and has a combination of web application development and integration experience using technologies such as Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON.
Responsibilities:
Engage with partners? product and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions, which are not only innovative, but will pave the way for future strategic partnerships.
Work closely with the Director of partner integrations, product management, and API support specialists to establish and deliver against the roadmap that drives innovation in PaySimple?s API platform, while bringing solutions from the early concept phase to production launch.
Collaborate with the larger PaySimple engineering team to enhance PaySimple?s API stack in the areas of performance, security, reusability, and documentation, so that we can provide our partners a World Class API offering.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is required and MSCS preferred.
Targeting engineers with 3 to 10+ yrs of development experience.
Strong experience connecting third party applications to back-end REST and SOAP-based Web Service APIs in a transaction processing environment.
Ability to work across multiple technology stacks such as, JavaScript/AJAX, Java, C++, C#, and Python.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, such as Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.NET.
Understanding of data modeling and database technologies including experience with MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or Hibernate.
Proficient with HTML4 and CSS2, with working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
Familiarity with application security and Single Sign-On using SAML and/or OpenID / OAuth.
Passionate about writing great code and delivering exceptional cloud based services to both customers and developers.
Experience working in an Agile/Iterative-style development group, with a consistent track record of delivering prototypes and user stories on schedule, on budget, and to specification, while utilizing unit tests to meet user story acceptance criteria.
Knowledge of QA Automation processes and continuous integration.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required due to the dynamic nature of discussions with external partners and internal teams.
