Job Title: Senior Software Developer (7 to 10 years experience)
Salary: ?50,000 up to ?60,000 plus a performance related bonus
Job Skills: C Programming, Linux Operating System and TCP/IP Networking knowledge is mandatory. Java or C# would be an advantage. Experience developing under Microsoft-based Operating Systems would be an advantage. Ability to engage in functional design and specifications is highly desirable. Experience in designing UIs would be an advantage
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Job Location: Limerick, Ireland (location of the Software Development Centre)
Travel: Travel to Germany and the US may be involved
Primary Responsibilities:
Support all stages of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis functional specification, design, development and implementing solutions
Collaborate and assist in the enhancement and development of the company?s core business products
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering or Sciences
7 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Linux, C, IP Networking, UI
Microsoft knowledge would be an advantage (Microsoft Service Centre, Exchange, Sharepoint and Lync)
Excellent inter personnel skills both verbal and written
Positive attitude and strong work ethics, ability to multi task is a must
Ability to meet deadlines, effective time management skills
Willingness to learn and adapt
Attention to detail
Personal Characteristics:
Candidates must be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, take direction and collaborate well with others.
