The Amalga platform enables customers and internal/external partners build applications targeted at clinical, research and healthcare administration scenarios. Our customers include some of the nation's premier hospitals and healthcare providers. Our team is in the midst of building V3 of the product and rebuilding the core platform.

We are looking for an outstanding senior engineer to work on Amalga platform. You will be part of the core group working on the design and development of the infrastructure to enable building, deploying, hosting and managing server applications. Responsibilities include product architecture, feature design and implementation, technical leadership, incubation of ideas, and improving quality and efficiency in team-wide development processes. The position provides an opportunity to work in a new and rapidly growing business with talented software engineers and medical experts. Our platform leverages SQL Server on the data tier; WCF, WIF, and ADFS for middle-tier services; Silverlight and Powershell for administration and management tools.
Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of commercial product development experience, design and implementation ownership of complex software features, excellent communication and collaboration skills, knowledge of design patterns and critical thinking. You must have proven technical leadership skills. Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework are essential and experience with C/C++ is highly desirable. Prior experience with enterprise platforms, SQL Server, data modeling, WCF, WIF, Silverlight and Powershell preferred. A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of development experience is required.
