As a senior product development manager, you will be responsible for driving development of new features and products using our rapid Agile development methodology. You?ll be working with highly talented teams to define the new product launches that await short and long term implementation to offer expanded business growth opportunity. And, you?ll be working with a group of people you?ll genuinely like ? probably the biggest part of this opportunity.

The Responsibilities

Manages , develops and mentors a team of Java developers
Focuses on high quality implementation, provides technical direction, oversees and reviews designs and code, ensures system integrity and scalable architecture
Works closely with the architect, marketing team, product management, quality assurance, and our other development teams
Enhances company strategic planning process by offering insights and plans to company management team

The Requirements

Minimum 5 years of management & leadership experience
10+ years software development
Strong understanding of object oriented development
Experience building a Java architecture from the ground up
Experience with some or all of the following: J2EE, JMS, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, Ajax, JQuery, Hadoop, HDFS, Cassandra, SOLR, NLP
BS in IT, CS, CE, or related discipline
Major bonus points for MS or MBA (either in-hand or in-progress)
Demonstrated experience with prioritization and coordination of development projects, preferably in an agile/scrum environment
Solid understanding of QA and software development cycles
Proud of your work, excited to talk about how you solved hard problems
Excellent communication skills
Motivating leader who lives by the phrase ?let?s go? as opposed to ?go?
Ability to use good judgment in developing world class solutions with the right blend of standards and appropriateness
