Job RequirementsDesign and develop software for host-side technology and target-side technology for embedded software.
Design, implement, update and maintain the industry leading INTEGRITY real-time operating system (RTOS), industry leading compilers, the robust and richly featured MULTI development environment, and hardware and software components that facilitate communication between embedded microprocessors and development workstations
Add new language extensions, create specific cutting-edge features and debug technologies for the latest CPUs in the market
Add new features to the award-winning MULTI IDE and TimeMachine debugger.
Support host-side solutions for target-side embedded real-time operating systems, including third party operating systems and target-side or remote debug agents and JTAG emulators.
Develop new real-time operating system (RTOS) capabilities, adding support for new microprocessors, peripheral devices, protocol stacks and OS API capabilities.
Retarget the OS to the latest CPUs; bleeding-edge hardware devices, and target boards.
Develop testing procedures, programming and documentation.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills in C/C++ required
Must be working toward or possess a BS/MS (CS, ECE, Math) or have 5+ yrs experience in the embedded software industry
Should feel comfortable with the idea of personally creating a fairly complex 25,000 line application in about a year
