Job Description:
Comet Solutions is seeking a senior software developer in designing and developing our
flagship product with a primary focus on CAD functionality.
The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of software development but will
have a focus on enhancing and maintaining and enhancing the geometric features within
Comet. This is a high impact role for the company's success because a major competitive
advantage of our product is the bidirectional associativity between Comet and external
CAD tools. Engineering domain knowledge and experience with an end user commercial
software is highly desired.
Requirements:

MS or equivalent degree in Computer Science and/or Civil, Mechanical,
Aerospace Engineering.
?
Proven experience in object oriented C++ design.
?
Design and development of architectural components for large scale software
systems.
?
Solid understanding of CAD data structures.
?
Experience with one of more of the commercial CAD kernel api e.g. Pro/E,
Solidworks, UG NX, Spaceclaim etc or a geometry kernel like ACIS, Parasolid.
?
Some level of understanding in the CAD/CAE. Experience with one of the
commercial CAE software like Hypermesh, Ansa preferred.
