The candidate will be responsible for System Software development for a next generation optical transmission and switching product. Responsibilities include architecture, design, development and integration of the software.Relevant Experience: 10 + years. Experience in the some of the following areas is desired:
Experience with software development in ROADM based transmission/ switching systems in a multi-processor/multi-shelf environment
Experience in developing software for Ethernet/OTU switching platforms
Experience with data communications software Control-Plane Communication protocols like OSPF-TE and RSVP-TE and GMPLS
Experience with GMPLS stacks from Marben or Metaswitch
Knowledge of standards G.709 and relevant ITU standards, MEF, OIF, GR-253 and relevant standards
Experience Board-Support Packages, Ethernet and Backplane communication architectures
Experience with C/C++ OSE/VxWorks/Embedded Linux
