Job Description:Duties: Applies Database and/or System
and Software engineering principles to
investigate, analyze, plan, design,
develop, implement, test, or evaluate
computer systems and databases. Applies
software/database development principles
for design development, analysis,
coding, testing, and implementation of
complex business applications. Performs
functions such as computer system
architecture, requirements definition,
system design, database design, computer
system integration, computer and
telecommunications configuration
management, software development and
quality assurance testing. Analyzes,
designs, develops, implements, and test
automated data processing software
related to functional requirements of
computer and telecommunications systems
and associated support systems.
Generally possesses experience with
system specific programming languages,
operating systems and/or database
systems.
Job Requirements:
NOTE: Mid-Level (5 Years experience) and
Jr (2 Years experience) positions are

Senior Software Engineer/Analyst
Requirements:
? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent years
of experience.
? At least 10 years of experience
working in Software and Systems
engineering. Experience in Government
Acquisitions is highly desirable.
? Familiarization with USCG Acquisition
Directorate (CG-9) mission, staff, and
business operations is highly desirable.
Experience within the Directorate a
plus.
? Previous experience managing high
performing teams providing professional
support services to a major software and
systems engineering program, managing
personnel and Integrated Product Teams
(IPT's).
? Prior presentation development and
briefing skills.
? Must have excellent customer service
skills. Knowledge of USCG programs
desired.
