Senior Software Engineer, Bluetooth Jawbone
It's the job of Technology R&D to push the boundaries of what technology can do, from military-grade audio to cutting-edge sensors. We get to play with stuff that most technologists only dream about, resulting in hundreds of patents over the last ten years. We spend our time exploring what's possible (and what might be), identifying marketable solutions, and prototyping new products.Currently, the CTO office at Jawbone is seeking a senior software engineer to join our Bluetooth software team. You will play a key role in designing and developing our next-generation Bluetooth stack.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and develop core stack from HCI to L2CAP and implement profiles such as SPP, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP
Define Bluetooth system architecture, APIs and documentation
Design and develop Bluetooth test applications for a variety of platforms
Assist hardware engineering team with specification of Bluetooth hardware for new products
Requirements:
Strong C/C++ skills
3+ years experience with Bluetooth BR/EDR stack development, BTLE a plus
Previous experience with embedded systems and device drivers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelors degree in CS, Math, E Eng, Comp Eng or equivalent
