Senior Software Engineer - C# / PKI Venafi

ResponsibilitiesBe an architect and major contributor to the design and implementation of core functionality for Venafi's next generation product.
Attention to detail, and great communication skills are a must.
Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team, to create software that helps our customers succeed in their business.
Must be self-motivated, details oriented, and possess the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Must ensure that the system is scalable, secure and robust.
Identify system deficiencies and recommend efficient client-server solutions.
Accurately estimate and adhere to the scope and schedule of assigned tasks
Required Skills & Knowledge
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems in an enterprise environment.
Experience in developing security software with attention to data security, auditing requirements and evolving threats.
Expertise in X.509 certificates, SSL communications, data encryption, and cryptography.
Extensive C# programming experience ? must be able to write clean, consistent, well documented, C# code following a previously established style.
Extensive experience developing within a distributed client / server architecture
Thorough understanding of sound memory management and code optimization
Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
Preferred Experience
Commercial product development experience
C programming experience
Experience in developing internationalized applications
Experience developing system management and configuration software
Understanding of encryption and/or certificate concepts and technologies.
