Senior Software Engineer MedVentive
Job SummarySoftware Engineers participate in any of the aspects of our big data, data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics processes including but not limited to intake and quality control of data, large dataset number-crunching algorithms, data mining, web development for data presentation, and infrastructure automation. This role will work daily on common development issues, such as architecture decisions, design patterns, coding standards, recommendations, and design and code reviews. We are looking for developers who are proficient in areas such as software configuration management, release planning, and establishing and improving development methodologies.

Design, develop and implement systems
Participate in architecture decisions and collaborate on design patterns, coding standards and code reviews with the rest of the development team
Qualifications and Skills
6+ years of professional development experience
B.S. degree in Computer Science or EE or related discipline
Worked in a product development company in a development capacity
Knows SQL, .NET, C#, Silverlight, Telerik controls, Microsoft IIS, SSRS
Experienced in a database development environment with Transact-SQL or PL/SQL
Experience developing and supporting ASP.net programs is required.
Experience with Agile development processes, JIRE, Subversion is a plus.
Participated in developing software that runs on a production schedule (i.e. large scheduled batch runs with deadlines enforced by SLAs)
Worked on software projects that were delivered to a customer other than those internal to the same company
Healthcare, business intelligence, analytics or big data experience is a big plus.
Experience with health care industry including requirements gathering and/or systems analysis is a plus.
Demonstrated analysis and data-driven problem solving skills
Independent, resourceful and self-motivated
Strong analytical skills
