About the Job
Nexant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Chandler, AZ office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in the software support, maintenance and upgrade activities of Nexant?s web based software products for the electric energy market.
Customize Nexant?s software products and engage in technical discussions with Independent System Operators (ISOs).
Provide software updates, upgrades, and workarounds.
Implement software quality assurance testing and support tools.
Maintain software for clients of Nexant?s integrated system products and energy market software products.
Qualifications
Master?s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or related field.
Must also possess coursework or experience background with analytical and numerical equations for computer system modeling of power systems, large scale linear and nonlinear simulation, optimization techniques and simulation, and power system equipment.
