About the Job
Due to a major expansion agenda, we have a need for hands-on and talented Senior Software Engineers to join our Grid Management ? Products team in our Chandler, AZ office.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will participate in the full life cycle development of enterprise software systems, including design, implementation, testing, and support. Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to, implementation of business logic, user interfaces, and databases.
Qualifications
We are seeking motivated developers with hands-on experience in enterprise systems software development, with a minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in Java server side development with a focus on the following areas:
Strong core java expertise in developing scalable systems.
Hands-on experience in designing and developing JEE based systems.
Implementation knowledge of Hibernate, Struts and other frameworks.
Good knowledge of Server and Web Client technologies, and how they work together.
Ability to proactively look at new and innovative solutions that may improve user experience while increasing performance and scalability.
Should be analytical and be able to troubleshoot applications.
Firm understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience in developing Web based applications.
Exposure to formal development methodology tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
B.S. in Computer Science or MIS, MS is preferred.
Power System modeling knowledge is a plus, but not required.
