This role requires working closely with the Team Manager on the Data Pipeline platform while developing and actively maintaining the current codebase. This position will also include new challenges involving improving ad serving and optimization.Technical Skills employed by the targeting team:
Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
C++
Java 1.6
Hadoop
Agile development practices like code reviews, unit tests, etc.
A variety of data mining algorithms, data structures and statistical methods
Desired Qualities:
Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
Self Starter able to work independently with minimum supervision
3-5 years experience with C++
3-5 years Experience with Boost, STL
Data mining/statistical analysis experience is a plus
Experience with Java and Hadoop is a plus
Experience with online advertising is a plus
Experience maintaining mission critical systems in a 24/7 environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Result oriented attitude
