Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a world-class Cloud BI company?Domo! This position will be part of a team creating great Domo software experiences.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years software development experience in any OOP language (Java, C#, C++)
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field. Will consider 8+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree.
Excellent knowledge in major development tools and processes, such as source control, continuous integration and deployment, debugging, unit test, system test, performance test, monitoring, etc.
Proficient with Java and knowledge of J2EE architecture. Knowledge of Object Oriented design processes and tools such as UML
Proficient knowledge and experience with a Java IDE such as Eclipse
Knowledge of and experience with deploying and monitoring Java and web technologies such as JSF2, Ajax, XML, Spring
Knowledge and experience with deploying and monitoring SOA and Web Services (SOAP and REST preferred)
Knowledge and experience with deploying and monitoring web servers and application servers such as Apache Tomcat
Strong working knowledge of Linux, experience with bash scripts, and other scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Perl
Experience with AGILE and SCRUM methodologies
Ability to communicate and interface with technical and non-technical members of the organization.
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
Passionate about technology and solving complex business problems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
Nice To Have Qualifications
Experience working in a SaaS or Business Intelligence industry and product
