The software engineer will be responsible for the successful development of new project features,Including analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment and maintenance of new
and current features.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful development of new product features, including analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance (of new and current features)
Collaborate with end-users to determine needs, requirements, and solution design; Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Usher the process along from the product requirements phase through to the delivery and completion stage
Solid understanding of businesses key drivers and how it impacts uSamp technical product and requests
Commitment to critical thinking and proactive contributions ; driver of technical process
Commitment to timely delivery of all feature or product requests.
Top quality and timely responsiveness to all of uSamps internal clients; Full transparency and 360 degree communication with all involved.
Proactively learns about new software engineering tools and techniques
Actively participates and lends ideas and suggestions during teams brainstorming sessions
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Java and PHP
Expertise with Spring, SpringMVC, MyBatis or other ORM tools
Strong experience with database architecture (relational databases / NoSQL)
Experience with cloud computing and -nix systems is a plus
Working experience as a lead/senior/architect/mentor to other developers
Detail oriented, excellent organization and time-management abilities
Exceptional communication and team skills
Bachelors in computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience
7+ years of on the job software development experience is required
