iCrossing, a fast growing digital marketing media company, is seeking an ETL/BI developer in Chicago to work in a challenging environment developing high performance data processing and reporting applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient software engineer who has 5+ years experience developing Business Intelligence solutions (etl, reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Microsoft SSAS in a data warehousing environment.
Candidate must have experience with Data Warehousing, ETL processing, Business Intelligence and must have worked with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack.
Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
Ability to define, execute and interpret complex/nested SQL queries
Create data models from given business requirements
Developing,Testing and deployment of ETL Jobs
Dimensional modeling and develop cubes/reports from given business reporting requirements
Develop automated data audit and validation process to ensure end users are getting the right data
5+ years experience developing Business Intelligence solutions (etl, reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Microsoft SSAS in a data warehousing environment.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field
Must have strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server including.
MS SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
MS SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
Advanced knowledge of OLAP/MOLAP technologies and dimensional modeling, including applicability to various reporting problems.
Full Life Cycle Experience in Model, Design, Development of Data warehouse/ETL/BI Solutions.
Strong in database concepts.
Experience creating complex queries, stored procedures
MS Sharepoint preferred
Agile Software Development (Scrum, XP, Agile UP, etc) or the strong desire to learn
Experience with Web analytics data
