The Sr. Software Engineer work with the Product Management team to translate business requirements into technical design, research approaches and coordinate designs with team participants, develop and test software modules and work with QA to transfer knowledge and assist in their test planning, maintain production environments as appropriate and may lead projects and initiatives.
Minimum Job Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented professional to support the needs of the R&D Team at Dotomi. A strong candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
At least 6 years of experience in developing client-server applications
At least 2 years of experience in leading projects preferred
Expert level Java preferred
Excellent understanding of Object Oriented methodology and design
Excellent understanding of multithreaded applications
Experience in XML
Experience with SQL and databases
Strong understanding of client-server programming
Strong understanding of Web technologies
Online experience (e.g. worked in web enabled environments) ? ideally around media
Ability to learn and investigate new areas independently
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
Well organized with excellent attention to detail
Needs to be a self starter that can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get the work done
