Job description
This person should be technically strong and drive business requirements into technical solutions. Should have good verbal and written communication skills. He/She should have a proven record of delivering projects on time with high quality. Knowledge of agile software development is a plus.
Skills:
- Extensive experience with Hadoop and related tools
- Demonstrable excellence in innovation, problem solving, analytical skills, data structures and design patterns
- Extensive experience working with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and Data Warehousing
- Experience with Enterprise Java and web application Design
- Experience with Reporting Software such as Open Reports/ Jasper Reports is a plus
- Experience with Extracts Transformation and Loading (ETL) Infrastructure such as Pentaho Kettle
- Ability to research and document options and opportunities to solve business needs and assess the feasibility and risk associated with proposed solutions
- Experience in refactoring and re-engineering of enterprise systems and good understanding of functional aspects
Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science.
