GATR Technologies has an immediate opening for an Senior Software Engineer with the following credentials and experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or software engineering and at least 10 years of experience

Job Summary:
GATR is looking for a senior level software developer that has experience creating software to interface with electronic devices critical to GATR inflatable antennas. The primary technical focus of this position is linking disparate devices into a common graphical interface. The GUI will allow users to set up, manage, monitor, and control the devices. The candidate for this position must have experience with the software development process (requirements, specifications, architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance).

Duties and Responsibilities
Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages
Object-oriented Design and Analysis
Software modeling and simulation
Front end graphical user interface design
Integrate software with existing systems
Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
Project planning and project management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with waterfall and agile code development methodologies
Ability to design software for communication with external devices over multiple communication buses such as Ethernet, USB, UART, etc.
Experience with web development in embedded hardware
Experience with Doxygen or other documentation generation applications
Advanced math skills
Experience developing cross-platform applications
Manage devices using SNMP protocol
C++, JAVA, XML, HTML, IPv6, Linux, Python, Perl
