Senior Software Engineer in Test Lucid Imagination
Job ResponsibilitiesWork with the QA Architect, Development, and Product Management to define functional and performance test plans. Automate test cases and implement some features of test harness and framework. Coordinate with testing partners to plan and execute tests on schedule for releases. Troubleshoot issues, file bugs, and follow up on failures.
Required Experience and Skills
5 years experience in enterprise class software development, automation, or performance engineering
Strong automated testing experience
Some experience with Performance, Stress, Load, and Stability testing, tools and methodologies
Experience testing API, system, and UI; creating test plans and executing tests
Linux, Windows, and Solaris experience sufficient for system testing and lab management
Networking experience sufficient for understanding system testing of distributed enterprise products
3 years experience with programming in an object oriented language, especially Python, Java, Ruby
Experience with shell, batch scripting
Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Produce good written and verbal descriptions of coverage, metrics, procedures, and results for different audiences.
Self-driven quick learner with attention to detail and quality
Experience with JMeter or Grinder, Selenium/WebDriver
BS or higher in a science, applied mathematics, computer science or engineering

Experience with Hadoop, HBase
Experience with analytics
