We're seeking talented, motivated individuals to work with Proofpoint?s Information Governance platform. You will be a key part of the engineering team solving complex distributed computing problems and implement distributed data models between client workstations and centralized servers.
The ideal candidate should be technically strong, communicate well, and have the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
Required Skills:
8+ years of object-oriented programming experience
Solid OO development skills in Java (C# or C++ may be OK if you're willing to learn Java)
Self-driven with ability to work independently and in a team
BSCS or equivalent
Desired Skills:
Relational DB knowledge (table and SQL query optimization)
SQL Server Design and Development
Experience on an Agile team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
