Job Description:
Our tremendous growth has created an exciting opportunity for a seasoned software professional to architect, design, and develop core areas and features for the WideOrbit Sales/CRM product. Working with a team of top engineers, the right candidate will take our advanced, scalable development and deployment infrastructure to the next level using modern technologies like J2EE, web-services, SaaS, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
Responsibilities:
? Design, develop state-of-the-art product architecture and features for WideOrbit Sales Product suite, to work in a multi-tenant environment
? Continually improve product architecture and design to meet ever increasing demand on performance and scalability
? Work with Product Management, QA and Documentation teams to deliver software releases of highest quality
? Constantly focus on customer success and delight by actively engaging with Support and Project teams
? Enhance usability, maintainability and extensibility of WideOrbit Sales system infrastructure
Skills/Qualifications
? A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
? The right candidate must have 8+ years of experience in software development building complex, commercial, enterprise class product(s) in a multi-tenant environment using Java/J2EE architecture.
? Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, REST/SOAP, JDBC/JTA, SQL, applying Design Patterns, Multi-threaded architectures, JUnit, Web Application servers such as JBoss, Weblogic, Tomcat or IIS is required.
? Knowledge of SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL relational databases especially in SaaS environment is highly desirable.
? Working experience in designing and building RESTful / SOAP web-services and related platforms will be a plus. Knowledge of SaaS platform performance, scalability, reliability and high availability is desirable.
? Good understanding of technologies involving HTTP, HTML, AJAX, SSL, SSO, Asynchronous Messaging protocols, session management, caching, CDN etc., is required.
? Must possess a thorough understanding of all stages of SDLC; prior experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology is highly desirable.
? The candidate must have working knowledge & necessary skills with IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans; Build and CI tools such as Hudson, CruiseControl; Version Control systems such as CVS, SVN, Accurev; Code Coverage tools such as Cobertura, Emma; and other software development artifacts.
? Must possess ability to work against aggressive timelines.
? Must possess excellent problem solving, debugging and communications skills.
? Must be a great team player and a highly motivated self-starter; must have the eagerness and willingness to learn and share new ideas, tools, and techniques to continually improve overall quality of software development and processes.
? Candidate must be willing to work with offshore product development and QA teams.
