We now have a Senior Software Engineer position open and are seeking a bright, highly talented, and motivated individual to complement our team developing our flagship Enterprise Visual Search Application Platform. The current position will be directly responsible for getting customer requirements into the shipping product, ensuring maintainability and measuring and improving product performance.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and development of piXlogics next generation visual search software: piXserve 2.0.
Duties include requirement review, architecture design, system design, coding, unit testing and integration testing.
Support customers on key escalations.
Update project documentation (functional/design specs/API documents) as required.
Develop and implement performance metrics for the piXserve product.
Some travel required.
Skills:
Proficient coding in C++, Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, XML is required.
Strong background working with/developing complex Algorithms and Object Oriented Design skills are required.
Solid understanding of J2EE architecture is required. Prior experience designing J2EE based applications and highly scalable architectures (Database Layer, Application Layer, and Presentation Layer).
Strong background working with Web Services architectures.
Proven track record in development of software projects from start to finish on schedule and in a quality manner
Knowledgeable in software development best practices
Experience with established client presentation technologies Swing, AWT, etc. and familiarity with more recent advancements in Web Based presentation and Rich-Client Frameworks.
Experience working with Postgres, Oracle, Microsoft SQL is required.
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written are required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong Analytical Skills
Have completed full development cycle for a web application software product.
